2 Our Zero-Data Commitment

We explicitly do not collect, receive, store, or process any of the following:

Your Visual Assets - Photos you edit are processed in your system's RAM and are never transmitted to a server. They exist only within your browser's secure sandbox.
Identity & Contact Data - No accounts, registrations, or sign-ups are required. We never ask for your name or email within the app.
Network Metadata - We do not log or store your IP address or connection details.
Behavioral Analytics - We do not track which features you use or how long you spend on the platform.
Tracking Technologies - SquarePic uses zero cookies, zero local storage tracking, and zero cross-site beacons.

3 How Your Images Are Processed

All editing in SquarePic happens entirely inside your web browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. When you select an image:

The file is read locally using the FileReader API, it never leaves your device.
The image is drawn onto an in-memory canvas element for real-time editing.
When you export, the browser encodes the canvas directly as a file (WebP, JPEG, or PNG) for download.

Once you close or refresh the browser tab, all session-based image data is immediately and permanently purged from your device's memory.

4 Essential Connections

To maintain a professional aesthetic, SquarePic makes one external request: loading the Inter font via Google Fonts. When your browser requests this font, Google may log the request in accordance with their privacy standards.

We encourage you to review Google's Privacy Policy. If you prefer to avoid this connection, you can use browser extensions to block Google Fonts: the application will remain fully functional with system fonts.

5 Compliance & Your Rights

Because SquarePic is data-neutral, we are inherently compliant with global privacy frameworks like the GDPR and CCPA. Since we hold no personal data, there is no data to access, correct, or delete.

Your privacy rights are protected by design. Our tool is incapable of tracking you, making it one of the safest options for processing sensitive or professional visual assets.

6 Security Standards

With no server-side database, there is no risk of a "data breach" at SquarePic. The security of your photos depends entirely on your own device's security and browser integrity. We recommend keeping your browser updated to the latest version for maximum security.
